The man pursued a case against his family doctor for the delayed diagnosis of the cancer.The law firm that represented the man published that a settlement was arrived at with the physician. The settlement occurred over 7 years subsequent to the person’s diagnosis and he had not suffered a recurrence of the cancer during that time.The reported amount of the settlement was $500,000.
